Dead on the Bed

Well, we had an interesting weekend, when Robert comes to visit you always do!! Finally got a role in one of his films that I think I did OK with. Remember the art piece he did where he shot my picture with a high powered rifle like 95 time? Yes, then you won't be surprised that in my role in this movie I'm dead. I did feel that my days of making myself up as dead for Halloween paid off. My deadness was subtle not over done, no blood (shucks) and of course no lines to mess up. They only thing I had trouble with was the breathing. It seemed the more takes we had the more I felt a need to breath, the more I tried not to breath the harder it got. Also I had to be carried. These were people I know, who I go to church with. They tried not to grunt when they picked me up, which I really appreciated, they never made a comment in my ear shot. so I will just pretend that I wasn't heavy.
All in all it was really interesting, realized that being a actor is not a fun as it may at first appear. So heres to all those Hollywood people who have to work so hard being something they are not. Heres to Robert and Rod for what I am sure will be another great short.

More about Bees

We all love the bee. I was made aware of how lucky we were that the bees were in the Frudden's yard and that they went away. Saw a news clip about a lady whose home was surrounded by bees they actually dive bombed her front door. She was smart enough to call a bee person who just came and knew how to collect the bees and take them away. I would have had a total freak out. So though we love the bee, love the honey, just like with with kimodo dragons, you have to keep you distance. OK Elizabeth doesn't love the bee. The End

Spring Adventure

This is a picture of bees swarming. Today we were out in the back yard, beautiful spring weather, doing yard work. Just a wonderful day. Slowly I became aware of a humming noise that got louder and louder until I asked Bruce, what is that noise? He said bees, we looked over the fence into the Frudden's yard and we saw something just like this picture. A swarm of bees. Exciting but scary. Not knowing what was going on we rushed into the house but kept our eyes on the swarm. Soon they went over the Frudden's roof and were gone. Swarming bees are normal for this time of year, they are starting a new colony, looking for a new home. Hopefully they found one a little far away from N. Mildred. It was exciting to see a natural phenomenon. Life is unpredictable, like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're going to get! I got a chocolate covered cherry today!!
